Somewhere in Narnia a Prince needed help and it explained why the children were brought back to Narnia. Peter solved the mystery of the castle and it surprised them all. As they explored, they found an apple orchard and an old broken down castle. They went swimming for awhile and then they explored looking for fresh water to drink. When one moment they felt something pulled them and the next they found themselves in the woods and on an island. It’s a year later and they are at the train station heading back to boarding school. The story continued were The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe left off. Now, with the help of a colorful cast of new characters, including Trufflehunter the badger and Nikabrik the dwarf, the Pevensie clan embarks on an incredible quest to ensure that. It boggled my mind that the time difference between Narnia and real life was so vast! It’s also interesting that different people came and took over in the centuries that passed. One year after their incredible adventures in the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Peter, Edmund, Lucy and Susan Pevensie return to Narnia to aid a young prince whose life has been threatened by the evil King Miraz. The stories about the animals were fantastic. I like Prince Caspian and his curiosities. It helped that the characters were well liked and their adventures were exciting. This book was an excellent read! I just loved how the story pulled me in.
